Upon arrival at our Sapporo studio, you will be greeted by our resident engineer who will guide you through the microphone setup and monitoring process.

For multi-person recordings, we utilize separate channels for each speaker. This multi-track approach is critical for the post-production phase, as it allows an editor to adjust individual volumes, remove specific coughs or mistakes, and apply tailored equalization to each voice. We provide high-quality monitoring headphones so you can hear exactly how your voice is being captured in real-time.

Client Preparation Checklist

To ensure your session runs smoothly and you get the most value out of your booked time, we recommend the following preparations:

• Scripts or Outlines: While spontaneous conversation is great, having a structured outline or a full script prevents unnecessary pauses and reduces recording time.

• Guest Coordination: If you are inviting guests, ensure they are aware of the studio location and arrive 10-15 minutes early to avoid wasting paid studio time.

Deliverables and Outcomes

At the end of your session, you will receive a professional data package containing:

• Multi-track Raw Files: Individual WAV files for each speaker, providing maximum flexibility for editing.
• Basic Combined Mix: A single file where all voices are balanced for immediate review.
• Backup Logs: Technical notes regarding the session and redundant copies if requested.

These deliverables ensure that your editor has everything needed to perform clean cuts, insert background music, and finalize the episode. Standard delivery occurs via secure cloud storage immediately following the session or by the next business day.

Deadlines and B2B Terms

We pride ourselves on a fast turnaround. Most recording data is delivered within 24 hours of the session. For our corporate clients (B2B), we offer a structured payment window where invoices are settled within 14 days of issuance. All sessions are managed within the JST time zone, and our response time for booking inquiries is typically within 24 hours.

What is NOT included

Please be aware that this specific service is for recording only. To maintain transparency in our pricing, the following tasks are not included in the standard recording rate:

• Detailed Audio Editing: The removal of "ums," "ahs," or mistakes and the tightening of the conversation.
• Sound Design: Selecting and mixing background music or adding sound effects.
• Platform Management: Uploading the final files to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or other hosting services.
• Scriptwriting: Writing the actual content or structuring the episode's narrative.

If you require full post-production, we recommend our Mixing and Mastering service to polish your raw recordings into a broadcast-ready product.

Pricing and Tax Information

Our rates are based on hourly increments. Prices are listed in Euro (EUR) and include the Japanese consumption tax (10%). For B2B accounting purposes, we also provide the price excluding VAT.
