Our History and Philosophy

Pipaniormanagement was established in 2018 in the Chuo-ku district of Sapporo. Since our founding, we have remained committed to the principle of "honest sound engineering." Our goal is not to over-process or artificially decorate a recording, but to capture and enhance the natural resonance and authenticity of every performer.

Operating in an environment where the quietude and urban energy of Sapporo coexist, we provide high-standard engineering services. We support a wide range of creators, from local independent musicians and full bands to professional podcasters and voice actors, ensuring that every project receives the technical attention it deserves.

Facilities and Equipment

Our facility is divided into three specialized sections: a main control room, a versatile live room, and a dedicated vocal booth. Each space is acoustically treated to serve specific recording needs, ensuring isolation and sonic clarity.

Our technical inventory includes large-diaphragm condenser microphones designed to capture subtle nuances, and high-fidelity near-field monitors for precise audio reproduction. To maintain a clean recording environment, we have installed custom bass traps to minimize unwanted low-frequency resonance.

The Professional Team

Technical support and project management are handled by our experienced three-person team:

  • Riku Ito — Studio Manager. Oversees general operations and coordinates client workflows to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Mana Inoue — Chief Engineer. Specializes in advanced mixing techniques and acoustic design for a polished final product.
  • Kenji Ikeda — Recording Engineer. Manages on-site recording sessions and optimizes equipment setup for each instrument.

Workflow and Approach

We believe in a structured process from the initial inquiry to the final delivery. We begin by defining the project goals through a consultation, allowing us to suggest the most efficient session plan. On the day of the recording, our engineers handle all technical setups, allowing the artist to focus entirely on their performance.

During the editing and mixing stages, we maintain an open dialogue with our clients to refine the sound. Please note that all photographs used on this website are illustrative and are intended to represent the atmosphere and equipment of our studio.
