Terms of Service

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of recording, mixing, mastering, and studio rental services (the "Services") provided by Pipaniormanagement 合同会社 (the "Studio"). By requesting or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms. This agreement is designed to ensure fair transactions in accordance with the Consumer Contract Act and the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions of Japan.

2. Booking and Service Procedures

Service requests are initiated via our official contact form or by phone at 011-645-9893. A booking is considered confirmed only upon the Studio's acceptance and the successful payment of the required deposit. Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or provide written parental consent. The Studio aims to respond to all booking inquiries within 24 hours.

3. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

All prices are subject to a 10% consumption tax. To secure a date, a deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the session or prior to the final delivery of files. For B2B transactions, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. For detailed rates, please visit our Services page.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 3 days before the scheduled session are free of charge. For cancellations made less than 3 days prior, the deposit is non-refundable. In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, etc.), the Studio will negotiate a reschedule or refund on a case-by-case basis. Please send all cancellation requests to [email protected].

5. Production Process and Revisions

For mixing and mastering services, clients are entitled to up to 3 rounds of revisions at no additional cost. Any subsequent revisions or significant structural changes (such as changes to the original recording) will incur additional fees. Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of the initial delivery.

6. Intellectual Property and Delivery

Copyright and ownership of the master recordings and multitrack data created through the Services transfer from the Studio to the Client only upon 100% payment of all fees. The Studio reserves the right to withhold delivery or restrict use of files if any balance remains unpaid. The Client warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the compositions and performances recorded and shall indemnify the Studio against third-party claims. The Studio maintains a session archive for a period of 12 months.

7. Prohibited Acts and Liability

The introduction of hazardous materials, overloading studio equipment, and any behavior contrary to public order and morals are strictly prohibited. Clients may be held liable for damages resulting from the misuse of equipment. While the Studio takes every precaution to protect data, it is not liable for data loss due to hardware failure unless caused by gross negligence. For data handling details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sapporo. Any modifications to these terms will be announced on the official website.
